Jon Totten North Idaho College Email: jon_totten@nic.edu

Jon has been working in the Outdoor Recreation field for 12 years, and is currently the Coordinator of Outdoor Pursuits at North Idaho College in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Resource Recreation and Tourism and a master’s degree in Adult and Organizational Learning from the University of Idaho. 

Jon is most happy when engaged in water based activities.  He is an avid sailor with a US Coast Guard 50-ton Master license.  He also enjoys whitewater kayaking and rafting, canoeing, and backcountry skiing.   He is at his best when near a campfire and never leaves home without his harmonica.

Jon grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, and spent his entire childhood in the outdoors.  So, it is fitting that he has decided to spend his adult life outside teaching and leading others.
