Exhibiting at AORE 2009 - University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
AORE 2009 will bring together
450-550 outdoor recreation and education professionals for a series of high
caliber pre-conference training sessions and a multitude of core conference
presentations. Educational sessions will include technical water and
mountain-based skills, wilderness medicine, land use best practices, regulatory
land use policy, contemporary legal issues in recreation, business
administration, and student development.
Minneapolis is the largest city in
Minnesota, with over 350,000 residents in the city and over 3 million in the
metro area. Minneapolis is abundantly rich in water with
over twenty lakes and wetlands, the Mississippi riverfront, creeks and
waterfalls, many are connected by parkways. There are diverse
outdoor recreation opportunities with canoeing, sea kayaking, mountain biking,
cycling, hiking, climbing, and more.
Conference Site Information
The University of
Minnesota – Twin Cities Campus which comprises over 50,000 students, will be
the host of AORE 2009. The conference
will take place in Coffman Memorial Union, which was recently updated in 2002. The “Great Hall” will be home to the Vendor
Hall, and will feature over 9,000 square feet for vendor booths. The
“Great Hall” will host 30+ booths and hands-on demonstrations from
manufacturers and distributors of outdoor equipment and service providers. The
on-site vendors will be the center of focus for the duration of the conference,
as meals, daily updates, live interactive vendor presentations will all occur
in the “Great Hall”.

Exhibitor Presentations
On site exhibitors are also encouraged to submit a presentation to
educate attendees on the vendor's products and services. Please see

Vendors choosing to attend AORE 2009
as an exhibitor are required to be current members of AORE. The annual fee for
an AORE Vendor Membership is $350. All conference Vendor Booth fees listed do
not include the annual membership fee. If your company is not a current member
the annual membership fee can be paid for when you register for a conference
booth. The Vendor Booth fee includes: a 10’ x 8’ booth space and access to all
meals and conference functions for one company representative. Additional
representative can be registered for $200 each.
