Membership

General Information
AORE members are programmers, teachers, leaders, and students involved in outdoor programs. These include: college and university non-credit recreational programs and degree granting programs, military recreation, community recreation, and private outdoor schools.

AORE members enjoy networking and communication opportunities through the Association newsletter, conference proceedings, and several publications.

As an AORE member, you may wish to volunteer to work on a task force throughout the year to address critical issues that impact the field of outdoor recreation and education. Or you may wish to run for election on the AORE Board of Directors to help guide the future of the Association.

Any person or organization whose interests are consistent with the mission of the Association may become a member upon application and payment of dues.

Annual Member Rates:
Student $50.00
This membership category is for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in working in the outdoor field.  Students must be at least a full time undergraduate or a part time graduate student; verification must be provided upon request.  Membership benefits details.

This membership category is for retirees and individuals who are not working in outdoor recreation or related fields but who have a strong interest in the outdoors and want to show their support for the profession. Membership benefits details.
